Dear Mason County News and Residents!
I am so deeply impressed with the support and kindness of Gerry Gamel- a
beacon to me (and all of us) over the years of living in Mason County; this
is one hard working man with a big heart. What this really means is that his
support is helping me to help others, show off Mason County and introduce
new ideas that will hopefully some day become tradition.
I think our little town newspaper
is totally awesome and I am continually amazed at the great contributors,
the span of topics and the compassion that resonates from the paper. I also
thank Scott Weisner for being more than more than gracious towards The Great
Race as it has grown and becomes more well known. This year we had over 250
people from all over Texas come to Mason County- new people and old- all for
a great time and great food- for a great cause.
As to all my friends, acquaintances and the hard work of the Mason County
Chamber I just can't say enough. I know there is a lot going on here for
such a bitty place, but together we CAN make a difference.
Looking forward to our next splash!
